Chamber Seeks Members to Serve on the Board of Directors
Nominations and applications are now being accepted for the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors. Five seats are open for a 3-year term from July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2023 and 1 seat for a 2-year term from July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2022. An applicant must be a Chamber member in good standing as a member investor and engaged in the Chamber and its activities.
Chamber governance and policy is vested with the Board of Directors, which shall control its property, be responsible for its finances and direct its affairs. The board of directors are responsible for the following:
Deadline for submission of application is set for March 3. Review of applications and personal interviews with applicants will take place between March 3-27, 2020. A slate of directors will be published to the membership on March 31 and presented to the board of directors at the May 26 board meeting. New directors will be seated on the board beginning July 1, 2020.

- Any Chamber member wishing to nominate themselves or other Chamber members may submit a nomination via email to finance@tahlequahchamber.com and information will be emailed to nominee.
- Or any interested person may simply complete an application and submit to the Chamber office.
